Q: WHAT IS YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH CHILDREN SESSIONS?
A: I have been photographing babies, sitters, and children since 2013 and have photographed over 350 kids for cake smash and children sessions.
Q: WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
A: I am a full service Professional photographer located in Saint Anthony, Idaho.
Q: ARE THE PHOTOS TAKEN IN A STUDIO OR IN OUR HOME?
A: I have a store front commercial studio space filled with everything needed for your session. I provide all the backdrops, and props. For children under two I also have a client closet with some outfits available for use.
Q: DO YOU OFFER PRINTS AND PRODUCTS INSTEAD OF JUST DIGITALS?
A: Many years ago people were told save your photos to a floppy disk so they did, and then floppy disks were no longer made. So then people were told to save their photos to a CD or DVD so they did, and then they stopped making CD drives to open the disks. Then people were told to save their photos to a USB or hard drive so they did, and then the hard drive became corrupt or failed to open and the USB read empty. Now there is the cloud and people are saving their photos to it until it no longer works and the next thing comes along. Meanwhile the print over the fireplace looks down and smiles, and the family photo albums on the bookshelf nudge each other and giggle. Prints and products are timeless and can be passed down from generation to generation. After we pass on prints and products are a tangible item our family can remember us by. I can not stress enough the importance of printing your photos. After your session I have Albums, Folio Boxes, Prints, and canvases available for purchase.
Q: HOW DO YOU PLAN THE SETUP FOR OUR SESSION?
A: I cater every session to fit my clients wants and needs. Before the session each client receives a questionnaire that gives them the opportunity to tell me what colors they like and don't like. I then take that questionnaire and plan the setup around it so that my clients walk away with images they will cherish for years to come.
Q: WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO TAKE PHOTOS?
A: Because I have an indoor studio I can take children's portraits year around. There is no reason for them to freeze out in the snow! If you are booking a sitter session the best time is in the 6-7 month age range and once your baby is sitting up unassisted.
Q: HOW LONG DO SESSIONS LAST?
A: The session length depends on the package choice but they can last anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Q: HOW DO I GET MY IMAGES AFTER THE SESSION?
A: After the session my clients receive a proofing gallery to select their images from. This insures that my clients always get the images they love. Then after they make their selections I edit them and they receive their final edited images within 3 weeks. Once the final photos are edited I can order a professional quality album, folio box, prints, or canvases to decorate your home for years to come.
Q: WHAT IF I WANT MORE IMAGES THAN WHAT IS INCLUDED IN MY PACKAGE?
A: When my clients make their final selections they always have the option to add on extra images. Additional images are $25 each.
